International information

Welcome.
We are a college of further and higher vocational education which is located in Rosenheim, southern Bavaria (65 km from Munich / 25 km from the Austrian border). Our school provides access to higher education and is specialised in technical sciences, business sciences and social sciences. Our students aged 16-19 start in grade 11 and attain the National Vocational Qualification in grade 12. Furthermore, they have the option to take the exam of General Higher Education Entrance Certificate in grade 13.
In grade 11 our students complete two internships (10 weeks each) in workshops, corporate respectively administrative offices or in social facilities. During that year they keep switching between two weeks at school and two weeks of vocational training.
From 2014/2015 on we would like to give our students the opportunity to do a two-week work placement in another European country. Therefore we are looking for exchange partner schools which likewise want to provide their future graduates with a vocational two-week training and intercultural experience in a foreign country.
For now, we want to give 5 to 6 students the opportunity to join this program. A teacher will supervise those students during their stay. They will all be covered by their German insurance policies.
Since our students, teachers and partner firms are all quite proficient in English, the students visiting us do not necessarily need to be able to speak any German. As we want to apply for an ERASMUS+/Comenius sponsorship (closing date: end of April) we try to find at least two more European partner schools who want to take part in this work placement project.
